Seminole County announced a mandate effective July 1 that requires all employees and customers to wear face coverings if they enter an establishment where they may not be able to be six feet apart. Read more about the mandate here.

In a statement provided to Eyewitness News, a Walmart spokesperson said: “We continue to navigate how to best apply local mask mandates and make the transition as smooth as possible for customers. We understand not all customers are agreeable to these mandates, however our new store Health Ambassadors work to find solutions when possible and de-escalate situations while also keeping customers and fellow associates safe.”

On Wednesday, Walmart and Sam’s Club announced both stores will require all customers to wear face masks.
