Wet weekend expected as front stays to our north

ORLANDO, Fla. — Saturday will see a good chance for rain.

A stationary front in South Georgia and North Florida will give us an elevated chance for rain this weekend.

We’ll have at least a 60% chance of widely scattered showers and storms on Saturday.

This will help in keeping our temperatures just a touch cooler.

Daytime highs will hit the upper 80s and low 90s.

We are keeping an eye on the tropics and watching the coast of Texas on Saturday.

We could see a developing low gain tropical characteristics this weekend.

Regardless of development, it will drift slowly back toward the southwest, impacting portions of Texas.
