The city of Winter Park plans to consider new uses for the redevelopment of its former library property, as well as for a structure that may be built in a future park.

The city commission on May 10 will consider the proposed language for a long-term lease of the former library property at 460 E. New England Ave., plus a second proposal tied to the use of the air rights over a future parking lot at the now-under-construction, 2.4-acre Seven Oaks Park along Orange Avenue.

The city previously put the library site out to bid for reuse, but failed to reach an agreement during the last attempt.
