ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Some of your favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away are returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning this weekend.

Disney recently announced that Star Wars Launch Bay will be up and running again beginning Sunday.

There, guests will once again be able to get a warm embrace from Chewbacca or come “face-to-droid” with BB-8.

For those brave enough, they can even cross paths with Darth Vader himself.

The return of the Star Wars icons signifies a continued return to pre-pandemic measures with character interactions. Disney also said more character meet-and-greets including Aladdin, Jasmine, Pooh, Tigger and The Great Goffini at Magic Kingdom, Toy Story characters at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Donald Duck and friends at Donald’s Dino-Bash! in Animal Kingdom.
