BREVARD COUNTY, Fla.,None — Suspect Ron Dimenna Ron Jon DUI 121710 Ron Dimenna Ron Dimenna Authorities in Brevard County have arrested the founder of Ron Jon Surf Shop.
Ron Dimenna was arrested on Thursday and charged with driving under the influence. This is the third time he has been arrested for DUI.
Deputies said Dimenna was pulled over after receiving calls of a possibly impaired driver. The deputy who conducted the traffic stop said he "noticed a distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath."
The vehicle Dimenna was driving was towed from the scene and investigators said "a half empty can of 20oz Four Loco alcoholic drink" was found inside.
Dimenna founded Ron Jon Surf Shop in 1959 and now has eight stores in Florida.
