DAYTON, Ohio — Two people died Sunday morning after a car they were in rolled off a highway and landed on its roof.
Updated 3:30 p.m. June 6: Charlie Roark, a 21-year-old woman, and Jayme Laurent, a 28-year-old man, were killed in the crash, WHIO reported.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Original report: Montgomery County Dispatch said a car crashed through a guardrail on State Road 4 around 1 a.m., WHIO reported.
The Montgomery County Coroners Office confirmed multiple people died in the crash. However, it is unclear how many people.
The highway was shut down while authorities investigated. The cause of the crash has not been released.
