The Vero Beach Police Department shared photos showing the aftermath of the explosion in a Facebook post.

In the post, police said that the truck was participating as a vendor in the seafood festival when the explosion happened.

The victim, a 53-year-old woman from Port St. Lucie, suffered severe burns to her arms and legs, police told Treasure Coast News.

“Prior to the explosion, some witnesses advised that there was a smell of propane prior to her going inside the food truck,” Master Officer Darrell Rivers told the outlet.
