According to investigators, Rhodd was in her bedroom when several gunshots were fired into her family’s home on Sept. 13. She was the only one injured in the attack even though investigators do not believe she was the target, and deputies said dozens of shell casings from multiple weapons were found in front of the home and in the street, KHOU reported.
Colson is accused of firing those shots into the home, and investigators have determined the motive for the shooting was retaliation against Rhodd’s younger brother due to an ongoing feud, the TV station reported.
