USPS offering $10K reward to recover mail truck stolen in South Florida

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A U.S. Postal Service truck was stolen from a South Florida post office, and officials are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information on who took it.

According to officials with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service Miami Division, the “Long Life Vehicle” was stolen from the West Hollywood Hills Post Office in Hollywood sometime between 8:30 p.m. EDT Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

No mail was in the truck when it was taken, authorities said.

In a reward flyer, the vehicle contains the number “3309707″ written in blue above the windshield and on the back of the truck, WTVJ reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call postal investigators at 877-876-2455, WPLG-TV reported. The reward of up to $10,000 is for information that leads to an arrest, the Sun-Sentinel reported.
