In a Facebook post, Marion County sheriff’s deputies said they were called to a Walmart because a woman was threatening customers and employees. When deputies arrived, they found Brandy McGowan in the clothing department, holding a knife and speaking incoherently.

In the video, a deputy repeatedly tells McGowan to drop the knife, but she fails to do so. After another deputy arrives at the scene, the deputy uses his Taser and McGowan is seen falling to the ground.

Deputies said McGowan first came into the Walmart with a brick, threatening customers. Investigators said McGowan then found a knife for sale and opened the packaging, continuing to threaten both customers and employees in the store.

Deputies said that after arresting McGowan, they learned she had ingested approximately four grams of methamphetamine earlier in the day, WFLA reported.

McGowan was taken to the hospital before she was taken to the Marion County Jail.
