Florida State tops Oklahoma in Cheez-It Bowl thriller

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Cheez-It Bowl MVP Jordan Travis threw for 418 yards and two touchdowns and Florida State beat Oklahoma 35-32 Thursday night at Camping World Stadium.

The Seminoles (10-3) have won ten games for the first time since 2016 and they pick up their first bowl win since 2017.

Down 17-11 at halftime, Florida State’s offense came alive in the second half. Treshaun Ward rushed for two touchdowns and Johnny Wilson caught eight passes for 202 yards. Tied at 32, Ryan Fitzgerald kicked the go-ahead field goal with under one minute left to play.

Former UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel accounted for a pair of touchdowns for Oklahoma, but Florida State ended the game with their seventh sack of the night.

Oklahoma (6-7) finishes its season with a losing record for the first time since 1998.
