ORLANDO, Fla. — Central Florida is forecast to be hotter Tuesday before afternoon storms move over some areas.

High temperatures should reach around 94 degrees for most of Central Florida.

The heat index, or feels-like temperature, should be around 102 degrees.

The skies will be partly cloudy with a 40% chance of afternoon storms.
There is a weak tropical disturbance in the Western Caribbean that may develop a little in the next few days.

If it does, that system should move into Texas and Mexico.
Overall, the tropics remain quiet with nothing threatening Florida.
