Wednesday’s forecast: Mostly dry start, storms to move in this afternoon

ORLANDO, Fla. — Wednesday’s forecast will stay mostly dry throughout the morning and early afternoon hours.

Scattered storms will start to move in around 2 p.m. and into the early evening hours.

There is a 40% chance of rain.

Temperatures will climb into the 90s. Orlando’s high is 93.

In the tropics, Tropical Storm Fred formed late Tuesday. The storm will move over land in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday. Florida remains in the “cone of uncertainty.”
