Meet Gabriela Marin: Owner of Hometown Accents in Clermont, Florida

Gabriela Marin was born in Venezuela. With an affinity for art, she knew her talents were best used for the handmade trinkets and décor she sells today. Gabriela did not always own her business, she worked in sales traveling the country and collecting knickknacks during her trips. After years of traveling for work, her husband surprised her with the space that would become Hometown Accents. Since then, she has poured her whole life into running the store, and she could not be more happy about it.

Meet Omayra La Bella: Model, Entrepreneur, Producer, and Beauty Queen

Omayra La Bella started modeling before she was a teenager, but stopped once she had kids. Now she’s picking up where she left off. In just the last five years Omayra appeared in fashion shows and photoshoots in America, Europe, and South America. She runs her own skin care line, Innata, and stays involved in the Orlando community. Omayra is in the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of metro Orlando.

Meet Hiram & Dianne Turull: Owners of El Cilantrillo Puerto Rican Restaurant

Hiram Turull came to Central Florida after a a long career in banking in Puerto Rico. After less than a year of working in finance on the mainland, Hiram decided his love for food and cooking was stronger than the career he built in banking and finance. He and his wife, Dianne opened the first El Cilantrillo in 2017 on 192 in Kissimmee. Not even a year later, Hiram retired from his banking position to focus on being an entrepreneur full time.

Since then, the Turulls opened two more El Cilantrillos with the newest opening in 2021 near the Florida Mall. Now, they have their eyes set on opening a Spanish boqueria - Dianne’s passion project, according to Hiram.
