ORLANDO, Fla. — Her name is Faloshade, and she goes by Lala. The 15-year-old truly enjoys having long-lasting bonds with people, and in her case, she could stay at the group home she is in now, but wants to have someone who will visit and stay in touch long term.
“She is the sweetest, most kindest teenager that we have had here so far. She loves music. She loves being outside on the swing. She loves cuddles and is just a very sweet and happy girl. She requires a lot of affection, and she can benefit greatly from creating special bonds with others, whether it’s a family, or a friend, or someone in the community. And she loves listening to music and dancing, so a dance partner wouldn’t hurt,” says Child Advocate Shirley Lora Reyes.
“Lala would greatly benefit from a family that is very close that does a lot of activities together. She would benefit a lot from that one-to-one interaction. So, a lot of one-to-one time could be trips and outings, things like that, just to create those special bonds. She just benefits, just a very loving family,” she adds.
“She would bring a lot of laughter, a lot of joy. Her big smile and her sweet, kind, gentle personality are really what makes her very special.”
