RECIPE: The Chew’s Cake Batter Bark

Your party guests will absolutely melt over Clinton Kelly's Cake Batter Bark.

You will need:

1 cup dark chocolate chips

3/4 cup white chocolate

1/4 cup yellow cake mix

1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles

Step-by-step directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the dark chocolate in a bowl over a double boiler and melt.  Pour the melted chocolate onto the baking sheet, spreading to create an even layer.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate in a bowl over a double boiler.  Add in the cake mix and stir until fully combined. Drizzle over the dark chocolate. Using a utensil, swirl the white chocolate throughout the dark. Top with the sprinkles.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.  Remove and break into pieces. Refrigerate in an airtight container until ready to eat.

Tips - For a fun, festive party favor, put some bark in a cellophane bag tied with ribbon. Hand them out to your guests as they leave the party.
