One dead, 3 injured after Northern Arizona University shooting

An early morning shooting at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff has left one person dead and three others injured.

The suspect, Steven Jones, 18, is in custody. Jones is a freshman at the school.

Jones has been charged with one count of first-degree felony murder, and three counts of aggravated assault, according to ABC 15.

The shooting happened after two groups of students got into a fight.

The first call of shots came at 1:20 a.m., according to a statement released by the school.

There are more than 25,000 undergraduates at the school, according to The Associated Press.
