Cocoa "Extreme Makeover" Home To Be Revealed

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla.,None — Over 3,000 volunteers from all over Central Florida, including hundreds from Brevard County, worked hard to build a Cocoa family a new home in one week. The home will be featured on the popular ABC show, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

The couple and their three children are Christian missionaries who weren't able to live in their old home for months because of water damage.

People were waiting to see the Hurston family arrive Friday to see their new home for the first time. The show's staff plan to move the bus into place and then the people will yell, "Move that bus!"

The last details were being added to the "Extreme Makeover" house Friday and a lot of the final landscaping was being done.

Hundreds of people from all over Central Florida took their place across the street from the house. They were getting autographs from the stars of the ABC show and were enjoying the moment.

The Master Gardeners of the Space Coast put in an herb garden and a variety of people have lent their expertise to the home.

The big reveal is scheduled Friday afternoon.
