COCOA BEACH, Fla. — A Cocoa Beach police officer has been hospitalized after being hit by a driver leaving a strip club.
Police say the unidentified officer went to Cheaters (see map) after they got calls about a fight in the parking lot and a truck running into cars.
Two brothers were arrested, 29-year-old David Diemer and 31-year-old Douglas Diemer.
Authorities say, after the driver hit the officer, the brothers fled but were caught in Cape Canaveral.
