FLORIDA — Evenflo, a leading manufacturer of child and baby gear, is voluntarily recalling one of its seats after it failed a Consumer Reports crash test.
The recall covers some 18,000 Evenflo Maestro Combination Booster Seats manufactured through April 2010.
During the crash tests, two Maestro seat frames cracked and a strap that helps secure a child, loosened. It could allow a toddler to move far forward in the seat, potentially exposing the child to injury.
