KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Dozens of people trying to finish their taxes came by to find the Cabrera Financial Group in Kissimmee, swarming with federal agents Friday.
IRS agents hauled off box after box while one after another confused customers came to get their taxes done.
Stephanie Espinosa saw the agents coming in and out. "I was like what is this... I always see this in movies. I never thought it would happen to me." said Espinosa. Now she's worried because Cabrerra does her mom's taxes.
The company's website says Cabrera specializes in tax preparations, but the agents performing the raid specialize in tax fraud. Eyewitness News asked the agents, Kissimmee police, and the Osceola County Sheriff's Office what they are doing, but no one is saying a word.
With the tax deadline approaching quickly neighbors said that the parking lot was filled with eager customers waiting to get their taxes done. One resident said usually the lines are there when she leaves for work at six in the morning and are still there when she gets back at night.
Eyewitness News tried to get in contact with someone from the company, but no one would answer.
