2 women killed after SUV crashes through Lynx bus stop

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two women were killed and another injured after a crash at a Lynx bus stop late Monday night in Orange County.

An SUV veered off Silverstar Road and crashed through the bus stop just before 11 p.m. Monday, officers said. The two women were likely waiting for a Lynx bus when the SUV plowed over a curb and into them, authorities said.

One woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Police said Laquasha Robinson, 21, was one of the victims.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to the hospital, but she survived.

Police said 45-year-old Marjorie Przymusik was behind the wheel of the SUV when she lost control and crashed into the two women.

Rashoun Morris witnessed the aftermath of the crash.

"They had this roped off and the girl's body was lying on the ground," said Morris.

Police said it is too soon to tell what caused the SUV to cross the curb at the bus stop.

"They were probably trying to get on the bus and go home. It happened so fast," said Morris. "People really need to be more focused on driving during the day or at night, because they know that people are standing here. It's pretty sad."

Police have not said what charges Przymusik may face.

WFTV reporter Lori Brown is working to find out whether alcohol played a part in the crash.

The names of the second victim has not been released.

Lynx crews were cleaning up chunks of concrete and wood from a bench Tuesday left behind after the SUV slammed into the bus stop.

Police said the two may have been waiting for an 11:06 p.m. Lynx bus.
