ORLANDO, Fla. — The Pendás Law Firm will be distributing 1,200 free turkeys to central Florida families in need,on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at their principle office on 625 E. Colonial Drive.
“We still have so many families in central Florida facing financial hardships due to the struggling economy. For some families, it has reached the point to where a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner is not possible. It is for this reason that I have decided to give away 1,200 turkeys as a way of showing these families to keep their faith,” said attorney Luzardo Pendás, owner of the law firm.
The distribution relies on a “first come, first serve” basis and is estimated to run while supplies last.
No family will need to present any kind of hardship documentation.
This is the 5th annual turkey giveaway in central Florida. The Pendas Law Firm, will also be distributing another 2,200 turkeys to families in need in the Tampa Bay area, Southwest Florida and Jacksonville the day before the Orlando event.
