5 injured in Orlando drive-by shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are investigating after 5 people were injured in a drive-by shooting Friday night.

The shooting happened at Jefferson Street and Garden Avenue just after 11:30 p.m.

Police said a group of people were playing cards in an empty lot at the time of the shooting.

Investigators said all five adults were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they found a possible suspect vehicle shortly after the shooting.

Officers have not made any arrests and said the investigation is ongoing.
