Orange County deputies investigating after man found shot to death in Pine Castle

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County investigators are trying to figure out how a man ended up shot to death Friday night.

Deputies responded to the Oak Ridge Village Home Park on Statler Ave. just after 7 p.m. for reports of a man who was found unconscious and not breathing.

They arrived to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene by Orange County paramedics.

The sheriff’s office has only identified the man as being in his late 20s. No other information was released due to the early, active nature of the ongoing investigation.
