INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Fla. — An abandoned boat washed ashore in Indian River County on Sunday.
Deputies said they turned the investigation over to the United States Customs and Border Patrol after they found out it may have been used in human smuggling.
The boat was unoccupied, and deputies said they did not find keys or personal possessions inside.
