OVIEDO, Fla. — Firefighters battled a large house fire on Eugenia Court in Oviedo early Sunday morning.
Authorities said ammunition exploded and caused problems for firefighters when they arrived at the home. There was also an oxygen tank in the home, which caused concern for firefighters.
Homes on both sides were evacuated.
"I heard some loud, loud bangs. I really thought it was a shotgun at first cause it wakes you up in the morning and you're frightened. But when the ammunition was going off, it was some loud pops," said neighbor Larry Labonte.
The cause of the fire was not released.
No injuries were reported.
