FLORIDA — Authorities say a northern Arizona man accused of impregnating a 14-year-old girl was arrested in Florida Wednesday.
Cody Williams-Claxton, 18, was arrested in Sebastian, Fla. in Indian River County.
Yavapai County Sheriff's officials say Williams-Claxton allegedly had sex with the underage girl in August 2012, which resulted in a pregnancy.
When authorities were prepared to charge him in the case last December, they found Williams-Claxton had fled Arizona.
A warrant was issued for his arrest on suspicion of sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 15.
Authorities said Williams-Claxton was being held in the Indian River County Jail Thursday on a $150,000 bail, pending extradition to Arizona.
