Biology building at UCF evacuated

ORLANDO, Fla. — The biology building at the University of Central Florida was evacuated late Wednesday afternoon.

Just before 5 p.m. UCF administrators sent out an email alert saying the building was evacuated because of a gas odor.

About 45 minutes later administrators said that a small gas leak was detected outside the building, repaired and that people were let back into the building.

According to the email, all other campus operations are remained normal during the building's evacuation.
