ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A boil-water advisory for west Orange County has been lifted, according to officials at the Orange County Utilities Department Tuesday morning.
Officials said laboratory analysis of drinking water for the Windermere area has been completed and the water is safe to use.
The advisory was issued for more than 11,000 residents in the area after a 24-inch water main broke in Windermere Sunday.
Water to the area was cut off for several hours as the county worked to repair the broken main.
