Boil water notice for Spruce Creek Preserve customers lifted

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Officials with Marion County Utilities announced a precautionary boil water notice for customers within the Spruce Creek Preserve community has been lifted.

The notice was lifted after bacteriological surveys by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection reported satisfactory results.

According to officials, the notice was issued Tuesday after a temporary loss in water pressure in the lines that service the area.
