APOPKA, Fla. — The North Orange Branch Library in Apopka was evacuated at about 5 p.m. Wednesday due to reports of a man with a note, threatening a bomb, authorities said.
The library is located on the 1000 block of Semoran Boulevard.
Deputies said the man had a note reading “bomb.”
The 60-year-old man, who was not identified, was taken into custody, but after an investigation into the alleged bomb threat, deputies determined that the incident was a "misunderstanding."
The Orange County Sheriff's Office did not elaborate on what the misunderstanding entailed.
