ORLANDO, Fla. — Breezy conditions will continue across Central Florida on Thursday as winds out of the northeast create hazardous conditions along area beaches.
Dangerous rip currents are expected at the coast, while small craft advisories remain in effect for boaters.
Beachgoers should use extra caution near the water and follow posted warnings from local officials and lifeguards.
The persistent northeast breeze will also keep temperatures a little cooler along the coastline, with highs in the mid-80s.
Inland communities will warm into the mid and upper 80s, while Orlando is expected to reach around 90 degrees.
A few light showers are possible early this morning, but most of the afternoon should remain dry.
The overall chance for an isolated shower on Thursday is just 20%.
The weather pattern changes this weekend, with a return to wetter and stormier conditions across the region.
Periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms with frequent lightning will be possible.
