Ultralight plane crashes in Titusville, pilot injured, deputies say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — The Federal Aviation Authority said an unregistered ultralight plane crashed in a wooded area in Titusville Saturday.

The FAA said the crash happened around 1:30 p.m and the only person on board was the pilot.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said the pilot is conscious and suffered some fractures.

The investigation has been turned over to local authorities.
