SpaceX set for Falcon 9 rocket launch from Florida’s Space Coast on Sunday

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. — SpaceX is planning to launch a Falcon 9 rocket with another batch of Starlink satellites into orbit Sunday.

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will open its doors two hours early to allow guests a chance to watch in person.

The launch is targeted between 9:28 and 9:49 a.m. from Launch Cad 39-A at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Officials said the weather forecast is 80% “go” for launch.

SpaceX said the first-stage booster for this rocket has been previously used to launch GPS III Space Vehicle 04, GPS III Space Vehicle 05, Inspiration4, Ax-1, Nilesat 301, and two Starlink missions.

The reusable rocket booster is aiming to land on SpaceX’s A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
