BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — All Brevard Public Schools campuses and district offices will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 3, because of widespread flooding across the county.

District officials said crews are continuing to inspect campuses as conditions allow to assess flooding and make sure buildings are safe.

Schools are expected to reopen Wednesday, Nov. 4, and resume normal operations.

The district said the closure was made out of an abundance of caution and cited the safety of students, staff and families as its priority.
