ORLANDO, Fla. — Brightline says train service between South Florida and Orlando has resumed after flooding in Brevard County disrupted the route earlier this week.
The announcement comes ahead of Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando, scheduled for Nov. 6-8 at Tinker Field. Brightline is offering festivalgoers savings of up to 15% on eligible train fares.
How the EDC discount works
The festival promotion applies to eligible SMART SELECT fares for trips with Orlando as the origin or destination between Nov. 5 and Nov. 9.
Travelers must book through the EDC Orlando Brightline travel page by Nov. 9. No advance purchase is required, but the offer is subject to availability.
The discount has a $59 minimum fare, meaning some tickets may receive less than the full 15% reduction. PREMIUM and FLEX fares are excluded, and the offer cannot be combined with other promotions.
Brightline serves Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach along its South Florida-to-Orlando route.
Getting from the station to the festival
Brightline’s Orlando station is at Orlando International Airport. Festivalgoers will need to arrange transportation, such as a rideshare, from the station to Tinker Field.
The train trip does not take passengers directly to the festival grounds.
Other discounts available
Brightline also announced separate offers that could help travelers compare prices:
- Groups of three or more can save up to 25% on eligible SMART SAVER and SMART SELECT fares between South Florida and Orlando.
- College students with a qualifying .edu email address can save up to 25% on eligible fares through the company’s student discount program.
Travelers should compare eligible fares and promotion terms before booking.
