ORLANDO, Fla. — Brightline has temporarily suspended train service between Orlando and West Palm Beach because of high water along the rail corridor in Brevard County.
The suspension is expected to remain in place until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Service between West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura and Miami is operating normally.
Brightline said maintenance crews are monitoring conditions with Florida East Coast Railway and Brevard County Emergency Management. Once water levels recede, crews will inspect tracks, signals and crossings before passenger service resumes.
Passengers with affected reservations will be contacted directly about their travel options.
