ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Some members of the Channel 9 family went back to school Wednesday.
Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry and anchor Greg Warmoth were among those who visited various campuses in Orange County for the 2016 Teach-In.

The Foundation for Orange County Public Schools organized the event in honor of American Education Week. This year's theme was 'Great Public Schools – A Basic Right and Our Responsibility."

Visitors spent time with students of all ages, even the youngest ones.

Orange County Public Schools reported more than 3,500 volunteers participated in last year's event. It also serves as a type of career day, as anchor Nancy Alvarez posted on Facebook.
Meteorologist George Waldenberger gave a presentation on weather at Kaley Elementary School.
