ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Three local charities are trying to repair the damage to youth sports caused by COVID-19.
The RIP ITT Foundation, G.R.O.W., and Sports 4 The Kids recently held an event providing equipment to families in need. They gave away 100 duffel bags filled with basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, and volleyballs.
They also provided shoes to make sure the kids would have everything they need to get outside and play.

Danny Trosset, the founder of Sports 4 The Kids, says he hopes this is just the beginning and that they will be able to hold more events for kids in Central Florida, possibly giving away two or three hundred bags.
