Clermont man dies in motorcycle crash in Vermont

MARLBORO, Vt. — A man and woman have died in a motorcycle crash in the southern Vermont town of Marlboro.

Vermont State Police say 73-year-old John Brown of Fremont and Clermont, Fla., was driving a 3-wheeled motorcycle on Vermont Route 79 when it went off the road and hit several trees. The passenger, 72-year-old Leona Miller of Grove City, Fla., was thrown from the motorcycle.

Brown was able to crawl the roadside to get help.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.

Brown died on the way to the hospital.
