ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A spokesperson for the business where five people were shot and killed by a former employee said in a statement it will keep everyone, including the victims, on the payroll for the next three months while they consider plans for the site.
It also said the company will pay for the funeral and burial services.
The company remained silent on specific concerns over the gunman’s behavior leading up to the shooting.

John Neumann Jr., 45, walked into Fiamma Inc. on Monday and shot five people before turning the gun on himself.
He had a negative relationship with at least one of the victims and was fired from the company in April.

Family members of the victims told detectives two of the victims, Kevin Lawson and Brenda Montanez-Crespo, had a conversation last weekend saying something might happen.
During a vigil Wednesday night, Lawson's father appeared to confirm some workers had those thoughts.
“There were rumors going around, even last Saturday, that something was going to happen,” said Lawson’s father, Rick Davis.

It’s not clear of the concerns were brought to anyone in the top levels of the company or if any extra security steps were taken.
A former employee, Carlos Rodriguez, told Channel 9 that if Neumann showed up again, workers were supposed to say his name out loud, in a casual way, to warn others.
He said surviving workers told him they did that on Monday, but it didn’t make a difference.
Fiamma’s statement did not mention any changes to security or say why Neumann was fired.
Deputies were not made aware of anything beyond a 2014 incident involving Neumann and Rodriguez that was cleared without an arrest.
