LEESBURG, Fla. — Channel 9 wants to correct a story about the AMC Lake Square Theater that we first told you about on Tuesday night.
Although the theater received two unsatisfactory scores from the Health Department for vermin control, documents only show that the theater had not taken appropriate action to deal with a ceiling tile that was not repaired.
The Health Department has told Channel 9 that inspectors found no evidence of rats or any other vermin and AMC has said it has repaired the problem.
Channel 9 regrets the error and any confusion it may have caused for the company or moviegoers.
