LAKE WALES, Fla. — Kailynn Roland and Joseph Richardson told Tampa Bay news station that they found a full-length, French-tip fingernail hiding beneath the beans in their triple-layered nachos.
The couple said they ordered the dish at a Taco Bell in Lake Wales.
"It's gross. I puked," Kailynn said, "It was my favorite food."
The couple said the employees got the first order wrong and after they complained, they were given nachos with a hidden surprise.
Taco Bell's corporate office said it offered the pair $40 in gift cards, which Richardson said they turned down.
"If you had a hard taco, you probably would have never known the difference," Richardson said. "One of the things I'd really like is an apology from the Taco Bell Corporation."
Taco Bell's corporate office told the news station they are investigating the incident and will retrain staff members if they find it necessary.
