Orlando firefighters arrived at the two-story abandoned hotel near International Drive around 6:15 a.m. for a second-alarm fire.
City officials said the fire reached about 25% of the building.
No injuries have been reported.

This is not the first time that firefighters have responded to this area.
Earlier in March, the hotel in the area caught fire, which used to be known as the I-Drive Grand Resort.
Fire officials said the property is a vacant hotel resort complex, and while they are investigating the cause of the fire, a person could have started the fire.
“It’s in the area of Universal Studios, but it’s not attached to Universal Studios,” said Walter Lewis, assistant chief of the Orlando Fire Department. “So there’s vagrants or some other folks that are living in the property may have started a fire. But it has to be investigated at this point.”
