Orange County deputies need the public’s help finding the men who they said stormed into a small business Sunday morning and held workers at gunpoint.
The owner, Spiros Kodounis, of Orlando Paintball on Rose Avenue, said he operated for 30 years without a robbery.
Kodounis said the masked robbers held his employees at gunpoint all while customers outside playing paintball had no idea what was going on.
Surveillance video shows two employees cleaning the front office while a third employee was out back and held at gunpoint by two men dressed in black and led into camera view.
The men jumped over the counter and directed the employees to empty all the cash registers, police said.
Kodounis said he has already increased security at his business and changed procedures, one of which is that the business will no longer accept cash.
Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said they’re going through the surveillance videos.
“We have excellent video, the surveillance system that they have at the business is very good, so our detectives are looking into that and hoping that maybe we can get somebody from the community to give us information,” said Deputy Rose Silva.
Kodounis said he hopes the robbers turn themselves in.
