LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A portion of Old Eustis Road in Lake County will close starting April 2 to allow Florida Gas Line to conduct repairs on its infrastructure.
The closure will affect the segment of the road between Overlook Drive Road and East Crooked Lake Drive.

To notify motorists of the upcoming changes, message boards will be placed along Old Eustis Road before and during the construction period.
The affected work zone will be clearly marked with signage to guide drivers through the area. officials have encouraged motorists to follow all posted signs and allow for extra travel time while the repairs are underway.
Drivers traveling through the area will be directed to use an official detour via U.S. Highway 441 and Limit Avenue. This route is intended to bypass the construction zone while Florida Gas Line personnel work on the infrastructure.
The road closure is scheduled to remain in place through April 13.
