ORLANDO, Fla. — A judge has just handed down a life sentence to Jaylen Edgar for the deadly 2024 Halloween shooting in downtown Orlando.
The sentencing wrapped up Tuesday morning, ending a high-profile murder trial.
Edgar was convicted of opening fire on a crowd in downtown Orlando two years ago.
He was 17-years-old at the time of the shooting.
The trial started with powerful testimony from survivors, recounting that night and everything that followed.
