EUSTIS, Fla. — The Eustis Police Department is asking for the public’s help following a suspicious incident near Eustis Elementary School on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, when a driver approached a child riding a bicycle home from school.
According to police, the juvenile was biking home shortly after school dismissal when a vehicle pulled up nearby. A woman inside told the juvenile she was on the phone with the child’s father, which made the juvenile suspicious and ride away.
The vehicle briefly followed the juvenile before turning down another street.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic female in her mid-40s with black hair. The vehicle is described as possibly a black 2015 to 2020 GMC Yukon XL.
