Famed Breakers hotel site of prostitution arrests

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Police have made arrests for prostitution at a famed Palm Beach hotel known as a favorite retreat for the rich.
 
The arrests happened early Wednesday at The Breakers.
 
Palm Beach police say a 55-year-old man from Texas admitted paying $230 in exchange for sex with the 31-year-old Riviera Beach prostitute.
 
Officers were dispatched after a report of a suspicious car with three men in it in a parking lot at the historic hotel.
 
The Palm Beach Daily News reports the guest was charged with solicitation of prostitution. The woman was charged with prostitution.
